    You should contact the nursing company where you are registered to arrange for a replacement caregiver. At the same time, it is important to contact the National Insurance Institute to check nursing company coverage in your new or temporary location.

  2. I am not nursing-dependent but want to continue living in a nursing care home at this stage. What should I do?
    Placement in a nursing home for the elderly is arranged by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Contact a social worker at the social services department or use the social support services now available at the hotel where you are staying.

  3. An elderly person who was injured and whose home was damaged needs rehabilitation. What are the options?
    Contact your health maintenance organization (HMO) to arrange rehabilitation care in a geriatric rehabilitation ward or home rehabilitation at the hotel.

  4. A nursing-dependent person whose home was damaged and was evacuated to a hotel—what are their options?
    A nursing-dependent person whose home was damaged is entitled to hospitalization funded by the Ministry of Health (war code) for a defined period. Contact the health bureau in your area or use this link.
    Nursing admission is only for those eligible for the Ministry of Health nursing code. Nursing homes cannot accommodate foreign caregivers or family members.

  5. I lost my dentures. What can I do?
    Anyone over age 72 is entitled to dental treatments covered by the health basket through their HMO, including denture preparation. Contact your HMO.
