2. What treatment am I entitled to following the recent emergency events if I feel stress, anxiety, or distress?
- Anyone present at a security event who has emotional or mental symptoms of stress or anxiety can contact the National Resilience Center and receive short-term treatment free of charge (according to the joint stress care procedure of the Ministry of Health and the National Insurance Institute).
- You can also contact your HMO hotline to schedule treatment. The HMOs offer telephone treatment of up to 3 sessions for all their members.
Resilience Centers
Internally displaced persons can turn to the Resilience Centers for free treatment for stress-related trauma due to the war. Treatment is provided by licensed professionals specializing in trauma therapy.
The centers offer individual, group, and family therapy by phone, Zoom, or in-person at treatment centers nationwide.
