The Ministry of Health has opened a WhatsApp hotline for those who had to evacuate their homes during Operation Roaring Lion.
The hotline provides quick responses and guidance on Ministry of Health services and the health system.
Hotline hours: daily from 08:00 to 20:00. The service is available in Hebrew only.

Ministry of Health Response for Affected Residents Evacuated From Their Homes to Hotels
Ministry of Health officials will arrive at evacuation centers. They will be present on site to provide accessible information, coordinate medical needs, and provide assistance where gaps in health services exist.
Contact details for the officials will be published in the hotels.
Public health dietitians are in contact with local authority representatives and hotel staff to advise on nutrition for affected residents.
Nutritional Information for Affected Residents
Initial mental health support in hotels will be provided by Resilience Centers (Hebrew). Continued care will be provided as needed according to the traumatic stress protocol. The health maintenance organizations (HMOs) will provide treatment for mental health conditions through community mental health clinics.

Family care center (Tipat Halav) services are provided according to the area where the hotel is located, regardless of your usual family care center (Tipat Halav). You can also contact the Tipat Halav nurses hotline at 5400* or 08-624-1010 (extension 9) between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Response to individual medical needs – The health maintenance organizations (HMOs) are responsible for providing medical care and services to their members. The HMOs will provide care and maintain continuity of treatment wherever their members are located. For this purpose, the HMOs have prepared several service options, including dedicated hotlines.
The Ministry of Health is responsible for ensuring continuity of care and health services for affected residents who were evacuated from their homes to hotels.
