If you are currently outside of Israel and unable to return due to the security situation, and you need medication or medical care, you must contact your health insurance provider.
Extending Medical Insurance
It’s very important to contact the emergency center of the health insurance provider you used before traveling abroad, check the insurance expiration date, and extend it if needed.
Receiving Medical Care
- In a medical emergency, go to the nearest hospital for treatment and contact your health insurance provider immediately.
- For non-urgent situations, contact the health insurance provider for instructions. You may be referred to local doctors who have agreements with the health insurance provider or to specific medical facilities.
