24/7 medical response in Kiryat Shmona and environs
The Ministry of Health is expanding medical services in Kiryat Shmona and operating 24/7 urgent care and trauma services to ensure availability and access to medical care during evenings, nights, and weekends. The service is provided in collaboration with the HMOs and Rambam Health Care Campus. During the day, a dedicated community clinic operates, and during evenings, nights, and weekends, care is provided through Rambam. The service includes trauma care, X-rays, suturing, and immobilization. In addition, mental health support is available in the evenings and at night through an on-call psychologist, alongside the city’s existing mental health services.
- According to the framework established in collaboration with the HMOs and Rambam Health Care Campus, on weekdays (Sunday–Thursday) between 08:00–17:00, an urgent care and trauma center will operate at the Kenab Center, run by Clalit Health Services for members of all HMOs.
- From 17:00 until 08:00, care will be provided at the nearby Bikur Rofe center, operated by Rambam Health Care Campus.
- On Fridays between 08:00–12:00, Clalit’s trauma center will operate for all HMO members, and from Friday at 12:00 until Sunday at 08:00, care will be provided through Rambam Hospital.
