Over the last few weeks, many therapists have volunteered to provide assistance. The Ministry of Health is promoting outlines for the employment of therapists in the public healthcare system, in order for them to be able to continue to provide paid psychotherapy through the HMOs, the mental health medical centers and the resilience centers.
There are several options for therapists to be integrated for work in the public healthcare system. The Ministry of Health is interested in integrating therapists into a multi-profession mental health clinic, where they will practice their field of specialty. Required therapeutic professions are: psychiatry, psychology, social work, mental health, psychiatric nursing, healthcare professions and art therapy.
The integration of therapists will be according to the needs of the healthcare system and the various organizations.
The integration of therapist will be either by short-term or long-term employment and they will be employed as therapists within the public healthcare system.
