The health care eligibilities of internally displaced people

Student Health Care and Catch-Up Vaccination

Student Health Care

The medical staff at schools is responsible for providing students with health services, including vaccination and routine check-ups.

If you are residents of the northern or southern districts who have been displaced from your homes, you may have with you students whose school attendance was disrupted or who have been integrated at a new school in your temporary place of stay. Therefore, student health services are preparing to provide these students with health services in your current place of stay.

Internally displaced students who have been integrated at a new school in the temporary place of stay are eligible to receive all student health services in the new school where they have been integrated.

The parents of students who have not been integrated at a new school are welcome to contact the Ministry of Health's Hotline "Call Habriut" to schedule vaccination and other health services.

  • Call *5400 or 08-6241010, select extension 2 (Routine), then select extension 2 (Vaccinations).
  • Sunday through Thursday between 08:00 and 18:00, and Friday and holiday eve between 08:00 and 13:00.

Even now, it is important to follow the routine vaccination program in Israel!
