Special Dietary Needs

If you have been displaced and require assistance acquiring food that meets your special nutritional requirements, such as

  • Food allergies
  • Celiac
  • Need for modifications to the consistency of the food to make it easier to chew and swallow
  • Difficulty acquiring food that meets your medical condition

some of the hospitality sites offer nutritional solutions and you should ask hotel representatives or officials of the Home Front Command and see if you can receive food that meets your dietary requirements.

If it is not possible to help you find suitable food in your place of stay, hotel representatives or officials of the Home Front Command can help you contact the Ministry of Health's hotline:

  • *5400  or 08-6241010
  • Sunday through Thursday from 08:00 to 18:00, and Friday and holiday eves from 08:00 to 13:00

The hotline will refer your request to the local health office that will provide you with suitable food.

If you need medical food that requires a prescription, contact your HMO through its hotline or your clinic.
